Frankie Gomes (Redchild Reign) was born in the Cape Verdean Islands and moved to Pawtucket, RI when he was 10. He started making music at the age of 5. When he moved to America he started making rap music about 12 years old to instrumentals in his basement.

He started with programs like cool edit, tape recorders and microphones that connected to the stereo. He connected with Ocean State Records in early 2008 and has been making music there ever since. He's also fluent in playing the accordion and learning the violin as well as guitar. His focus now is playing the accordion and making Tabanka music which is African origin. He's also a talented chef and magician. Jack of all trades

Ocean State Records (OSR) is a Rhode Island based recording studio that works with young upcoming artists. We have also worked with such artists like Redrum 781 from Damu Ridas, Crime Boss from the mid-west and New York’s own Tragedy Khadafi.
