Irving Pharmacy is looking for a motivated pharmacy technician to join their team.

Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and medical personnel.
- Organized with strong data entry and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacists, technicians and clerks

Daily Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist:
o Data entry: proper intake of information from customers and medical personnel, updating patient profiles, typing and filing prescriptions, preparing labels, filing and other documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements, interacting with third party plans/payers and handling/resolving rejections
o Maintain store inventory: Order, receive, stock prescription drugs and supplies
o Compound medications
o Respond to requests from patients and doctors via various mediums (phone, fax, electronic)
o Other duties assigned by management.

Experience
Prior pharmacy experience preferred
Spanish or Serbian speaking preferred
