All aboard!
Our Library Foundation members are gearing up for a fun trip on Paterson Free Public Library Train 299!
And we are starting things off with not one, but TWO TRAIN CONTESTS:
#1 is an ART CONTEST for Kindergarten through 4th Grade: draw the 299 Train.
Rules: Drawing must be 2D only, no larger than 12x18in, and any medium.
#2 is a LITERARY CONTEST for 5th through 8th Grade: write about the 299 Train, why you like trains, and/or the importance of trains
Rules: Paper must be no more than 250 words.

Our Children’s Room Paterson 299 Train is based on the historic steam locomotive built in 1906 by the Alco-Cooke Locomotive Works in Paterson, New Jersey. It is currently on display at
