Thursday Networking Team

Here's a HUGE thanks to TNT for your generous contributions that benefited The Bridge's current residents. On Tuesday morning at 6am MMark McVeyvisited as TThe Singing Santaalongside an awesome team of Christian men led by John Collins, who fixed and served breakfast to the women and their children who find themselves housed at the facility. TNT member's gifts of socks, toys, hot wheels, gloves and hats were given to kiddos and moms who responded with grateful hugs and even a few tears. The toys distributed were a perfect match for the kids who arrived that morning (It was meant to be!) and the large number of socks, gloves and hats were appropriate on the cold morning (some of those kids REALLY needed that!).
So proud of the TNT members who made a difference this holiday. Thank you and bless you for that! Here are a few photos of the team that does such a great job with breakfast every month and one of the Bridge Directors; Stephanie Rosendahl, who sends her thanks and regards for helping in this way. Merry Christmas to you all!! PS – there are service opportunities coming up this Spring, too. Keep an eye out!

You need to know Amber's story!
Amber is 32 years old and has Cystic Fibrosis (a lung disease). She also has CFRD (CF related diabetes). She has dealt with health issues all her life and has had many people in her life pray over her. She's thinks of those people as Amber's Angels. She believes in guardian angels in Heaven and on earth. She knows she has Angel's all over the world cheering her on and she believes in the Grace of God that has seen her through so many tough battles. She had a double lung transplant almost 6 years ago and is now on the list for a kidney transplant. She is currently on dialysis and life hasn't been easy! She can't wait to get back to health to do Gods calling! 💜 Follow my life journey!
We're taking up a little collection of love for Amber. Come to TNT at 8am on Thursday and bring a special treat for Amber, to show that you're with her in her fight to get back to health and give her a positive boost to remind her that we're thinking of her and praying. We'll be at Pappa Yolk's Grill at 8am (as we are every Thursday) this Thursday, August 28, to collect these items and send them over to Amber with her mom, Michelle Pharris.
If you can't make it and want to donate, call Mark McVey at 832-407-6181 and we'll get your items to her. If you'd rather contribute to help with medical expenses, etc. you can send them to Amber directly here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/kidney-for-amber-a-journey-of-love-and-hope?utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwY2xjawMZbb1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHkRIQGXlUJAGXV791wXjFO6nehVzWf95OEhvqRzTZQwvlI7a2tUp8RUrpK4U_aem_2B2kWE0fATA1xAiG5CqWEw
