Thanksgiving centers around gratitude, but for many, this season brings up complex feelings about family, loss, or difficult memories.
You don’t have to force gratitude for relationships or experiences that caused harm. True healing acknowledges both the good and the painful. We are capable of holding both.
EMDR can help with reducing stress of both past experiences and fear of future events.
Your feelings are valid, even during a holiday about thankfulness.

- What feelings come up when you think about upcoming celebrations?
- Which family interactions tend to drain you?
- What boundaries might you need to set?
EMDR can help process the memories that make holiday gatherings difficult, so you can show up more present and grounded.
