Living in cities and fast paced societies, we forget about our true nature and where we came from. We are creatures of the natural world and belong in nature. When we take ourselves out of it and block ourselves from it we are blocking ourselves from one of the most powerful healing sources.

As with anything, when you take it out of its natural environment it gets I’ll and does not thrive. We need to find our way back to our natural environment!

I was reminded recently that healing is not meant to be a cure for a disease or illness. To heal is to make whole. When we practice healing, like in energy healing or Reiki, it is more of a shift of energy and awareness in our mind, body, and soul. Sometimes those shifts of energy can be uncomfortable and not always what we want, but it is always what we need to step forward on our life path.
