When I say I’m thankful and grateful, I genuinely mean it. I’m honestly overwhelmed with joy because I never imagined I’d be in rooms like this. Coming from where I come from, moments like these don’t ever feel ordinary to me.

I’m incredibly grateful to Tyler Perry Productions and BET for believing in me and giving me an opportunity that changed my life. They opened a door for me, and I’ll never take that for granted.
