Today my Loving Lovely Twin Daughters would have turned 48 years of age. The pain of the loss of our Daughters is not something I can describe. There are not any words in our vocabulary to do so. No man or person who LOVES their children is tough enough to take this type of hurt without weeping and curling up. It is multiplied many times over today. My greatest comfort is that my Sweetheart, Carol, and I raised our Girls in Church to know our Savior, Jesus Christ. I live in anticipation of His promised appearing to raise His dead and sn**ch His living to forever be with Him and all of us “Together Again”. I am standing on the Promises of Jesus with great anticipation. I already understand what awaits us. Thankfully, God has already revealed it to us in His Holy Writ. I have studied it long and hard and I am thankful for the hope He has given us if we belong to Him. Unfortunately, not all do. In these photos of us, Stephanie and Tiffanie are about 18 years of age. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Specialized Rigging & Lifting for Dismantling a 680 Tons Reactor 07/30/2018

I was contacted in the beginning of the last quarter of 2017 and was asked if we could engineer and fabricate the lifting attachments to rig up to two reactors for dismantling them. We were also asked if we could provide all the Certified BTH (below the hook) Rigging Gear for lifting the reactors. We were also asked to determine and specify at least two cranes in the market which could be utilized for safely performing the four heavy lifts in the very tight tolerance conditions this project presented. One of the reactors was set in 1972 and the other was set in 1988. Both acrylic acid reactors were engineered and fabricated in Germany. And as you probably already know, they do not think about rigging from the same frame of reference as we Americans. The heaviest of the two reactors was 680 tons. Both reactors were originally installed in two pieces. After the original setting of the reactors the lifting attachments were cut off. After going to the project site and reviewing all the conditions, my answer was "yes, of course we can do this". We engineered and fabricated the Trunnions, Rotating Bales, Friction Rings, THRU-BARS, THRU-BAR Sleeves and we provided all the welding procedures. I have attached a few drawings and photos of the first lift for y'alls review. Please know that not everything can be shared on facebook. It is too much information. However, I expect these drawings and photos will cause all you good thinking rigging folk to ask questions, which I will be glad to address. I can do it by way of facebook or you can reach me on my cellular phone (832-725-5659).
Rigging, Cranes & Lifting is the best craft in the world. I love it.
Enjoy !!!!!!!
