It's been quite a long journey. 40 days, 9 countries, and over 10,000 pictures later, with meetings in Zurich, and a week of consecutive 15-hour days of meetings in Bucharest, it's all finally coming to an end--at least for now :) I'm greatful to God for the incredible experience and the business opportunities He's put in my path--not for me, but for Him and His glory.

I'm also very happy to have had my wife and my little guy along for the ride. Was it easy? Not by a long shot. Was it worth it? I think anyone can guess the answer to that. Whoever said "travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer" knew something about something. This 15-month old has set foot in more foreign places than many people I know. He has been introduced to industry leaders, VCs, bankers and attorneys and has overheard snippets of discussions of deals and projects that would make many a head spin. He's learned and experienced so much and will return home in some ways the same but in many ways a very different little boy! It will be very interesting to see what God has in store for him.
I'm excited now to be going home. I have a hankering for stability and a bit of an aversion now for spontaneity and the erratic. That will, no doubt, change after I've had my fill of the normal and predictable and, once again, my feet will begin to itch.
