ICYDK, kitten season is in full swing! While typically it runs spring to fall, here in Southern California, kitten season is prolonged and can even last year-round.😱

Shelters can experience severe overcrowding due to the sheer volume of intakes, and many orgs are on the lookout for both foster parents and new pet parents, like our adoption of record for CatCon 2026, Pasadena Humane.

lifesaving programs and services for animals and the people who love them across the Greater
Los Angeles area.

At its Pasadena campus, thousands of the community’s most vulnerable animals receive shelter, dedicated care, and a chance at a fresh start each year. In addition to adoptions and foster care, Pasadena Humane helps people care for and keep their pets through services like free and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccines, a pet food pantry, and an animal support call center.
