I saw an email from a colleague talking about “it’s a hot seller’s market”🙇🏾‍♀️

Low inventory, yes. It’s for the most part going to be a low inventory situation in LA. The reality is, we’re in a transitioning market and my buyers are getting killer deals (and have been for a year now). The rates are high and scaring most of the buyer pool away. The savvy + second home/ next home buyers are pouncing because they don’t have to deal with the insanity of competing with 10-30 offers. They’re often the only offer or one of few. By keeping their eye on the prize, some are getting to negotiate lower than ever on sales price.

I’m not going to say “now is the time to buy!” But now could be a good time to strategize for the right opportunity while your competition is still on the bench.
