Our planet is in its 6th mass extinction, and the first one caused primarily by human activity. None of us want to imagine a world without polar bears, or skies without the colorful wings of monarch butterflies.

Yet, right now the Trump administration is trying to effectively gut a key provision of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) – a law that has saved more than 2,000 species. The ESA is the reason we still have bald eagles, grizzly bears, the California condor, and other iconic species that awaken children’s – and all of our – love for the natural world.

Undermining the ESA now, at a time when an estimated one million plant and animal species could be facing extinction, is as immoral as it is wrongheaded. Please join us in fighting to protect endangered species and the habitats they need for survival.
