Sparks Elementary

Today Mrs. Leal presented at our PISD Mathematics Conference! Way to go Mrs. Leal!

This past week I attended the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Conference. I was able to learn a lot as well as find great resources for our students.

This year, 4th grade teacher Mrs. Leal was able to join me as an aspiring administrator. It was great to have a staff member to collaborate with and share the learning experience.

Mrs. Leal actually won free math resources for all our 3rd and 4th grade math students that we typically purchase each year.

At the conference, our student council was also recognized.

It was also great to spend time learning and collaborating from fellow PISD principals.

Today at our Leadership Symposium, Mrs. Melgar represented the voice of teachers. She did an amazing job sharing her perspective as a teacher for principals and assistant principals to glean from.

She represented teachers well and Sparks!
