No doubt about it—freshman catcher Zachary Tuxhorn put together a season to remember for the Blinn Buccaneers and has been rewarded with NJCAA Division I Second-Team All-America honors. The official 2026 NJCAA and ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams both list Tuxhorn as a Second-Team All-American catcher, a remarkable achievement in his first collegiate season.

The Clear Lake, Texas native emerged as one of Blinn's top offensive threats throughout the year. During the Buccaneers' run to the JUCO World Series, he was among the team's home-run leaders and consistently delivered in key moments. Earlier in the season, he was hitting .500 through his first 24 games while reaching base at an elite rate and providing clutch production in conference play.

For a freshman to earn national recognition at one of the premier junior-college baseball programs in the country speaks volumes about Tuxhorn's impact and future potential. Congratulations to Zachary Tuxhorn on an outstanding debut season and a well-deserved NJCAA Second-Team All-America honor.
