After sitting empty for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tecoy Porter College Prep finally welcomed students to the newly constructed campus for the first time in the fall of 2021! Located in East Sacramento, Tecoy Porter College Prep is named after the civic activist who calls for unity and dedicates the school as a living monument to Stephon Clark.

African textiles from the early 20th century are the inspiration for much of the design. Weavings influence the relationship of circulation to program space and traditional tribal hats inform the coloring of the exterior façade.
