I thought my life was over after I got sober.

I had no idea who I was and honestly, I didn’t think there was anything left for me.

The dreams I once had? Gone. Or so I thought.

But here’s the truth: this new life didn't end dreams—it gave them back. The ones I lost. The ones I buried. The ones I never even knew I had.

I have friends I never thought I’d have. I’m closer with my family in ways I never thought possible. I get to be the person I know I am without hiding in the shadows.

For the first time in my life, I feel like I can be myself without all the distractions. And for the first time, I can actually trust people and rely on them.

Now, I wake up every day and build a life I never thought possible.
