One of the best parts of church is sharing love in practical ways. This past Thursday, Lorie Bartel, Randa Behrens, and Katy Hansen from our Outreach Committee shopped for and delivered groceries to a Venezuelan family of four through Exodus World Service, funded by the more than $800 raised through our Fathers for Mission fundraiser.

Exodus World Service continues to care for refugee families who arrived in the U.S. in recent years, and groceries are one of the greatest needs right now as some federal benefits have been cut.

After the delivery, the team sat and visited with the family. Katy had learned that the family's young son loves art, so she tucked a sketchbook and markers into the bags; his face lit up when he saw them.

Another delivery is planned for this Tuesday for a Rohingya family of three. If you would like to help with a future delivery, send us a message. Thank you to everyone whose generosity made this possible.
