The Real Park Ridge

It was great seeing our friends at the Easy Street Park Ridge tent at the Taste of Park Ridge last weekend. And it was equally as great to discover one of their new summer specials on Devon Avenue... the southwest chicken egg rolls. Let's get together and bug them enough to keep them on the regular menu going forward. C'mon, who's with me?

The 2026 edition of the Taste of Park Ridge is underway and runs through Saturday. What foods and bands are you most looking forward to?

What is your favorite restaurant in the area?

Jerry Kussy: "I don’t necessarily have one favorite, as I go to different places for different experiences. Happy hour at fire+wine-Park Ridge is a great deal, and the outdoor space is fantastic. The loaded nachos at Don Juan's Cantina are perfect to split, especially with one of their hand-shaken margaritas. And the salmon skin sushi roll at Blufish Sushi Bistro Park Ridge (not on the menu — you have to ask for it) is one of my favorites. Too many great choices to pick just one."
