John Fox Jr. Genealogical Library

Volunteer librarian Rogers Barde says that one of the most useful and popular holdings in the John Fox Library are the tax lists. It’s like having a census every year and is helpful in locating not only Bourbon County ancestors but those traveling through Bourbon County to other locations. In addition there are fun mementos such as this great newspaper clipping of a fundraiser antique auction.
