Did you know it takes about a year to take the fiber from the alpaca to produce it into a product? From shearing, to sorting, washing, dehairing, dying to yarn to finally a sock, glove, etc. This is why most times products are not available for purchase til the Fall and also the expense for authentic alpaca :)
