This is Madi. Madi is from Paris, Texas. She and her parents (Taryn and Jordan) are on their way to Florida to spend part of the summer on a mission trip at Lighthouse Family Retreat. While passing through Brewton they stopped at Burnham Pizza Company for lunch.

Lighthouse Family Retreat is a faith-based non-profit organization that hosts restorative retreats and provides resources to strengthen families battling childhood cancer. The organization was founded by an oncology nurse who recognized the stress families face during the cancer journey. Lighthouse Family Retreat aims to provide families with hope and support during their journey.

Madi is more than a missionary. She is inspiration, courage and the possibility of beating childhood cancer. I hope to see you again soon, Madi!
