Family portrait time !!

4 days ago I was assaulted multiple times with a metal pole by the man who says he loves me. Oska and I lived with him. It was traumatic and all I could think about was getting out alive with my puppy unscathed. 5 stitches later, welts across my body… he was there with me whilst I waited for police. he didn’t move my side.
I had to get my parents to pick him up (we live 2 hours from the city) from my home around the road as I couldn’t take him in the ambulance... he had a great time at his grandparents place. Last night I picked him up and the absolute delight was beautiful and reminded me just how much Oska loves me 🥰
He hasn’t left my side since we got home and my friend snapped this extremely cute pic this morning!
