Bergen County Zoo

Due to the National Weather Service's Extreme Heat Warnings for the week, the Bergen County Zoo will be closing to general admission at 1pm on July 1st, July 2nd, and July 3rd.

Scheduled summer camps after 1pm for the next 3 days will still take place. July 1st Late Night at the Zoo is cancelled.

Please take a moment to thank our dedicated animal care staff who will remain on grounds during these hot days, going above and beyond to ensure our animals stay comfortable a cool!

Get ready for our first Late Night this Wednesday, July 1st! Join us at the Bergen County Zoo as we kick things off by highlighting our farm animals. The zoo will be open from 10:00am – 8:00pm, including the train and carousel! Every week features a different topic and includes amphitheater shows, animal spotlights, crafts, and more!

🐾 5pm: Horse, cow, and donkey training
🐾 6pm: Amphitheater show
🐾 7pm: Farmyard tour
