Being coached hard is challenging for both the coach and athlete.
Drs. Libby Wilson and Henry Kawamoto Jr were two of my toughest surgical "coaches" at UCLA twenty years ago.
Seeing them yesterday filled me with gratitude. They always did their best to make me a better surgeon.
