#1 Many people knew how much Kurt helped and gave to his friends, family and complete strangers along the way on his world travels. The things people didn't see was even more amazing. Throughout the years I have seen Kurt give random homeless people food, give them up to $100 and even a beer if that's what would put a smile on their face. I was shocked over and over again for years with the selflessness Kurt gave, but also witnessed the joy it gave him. Giving to people that can never repay you is one of life's greatest joys that Kurt taught me. Pass on the joy of giving and live the way Kurt did.
