What a dino-mite start to the summer! 🦖

A massive THANK YOU to the East Lake community for packing the library for our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Kickoff! We loved seeing so many families, avid readers, and fresh faces ready to dig into new adventures and discover hidden gems on our shelves. From filling out raffle tickets to exploring our kickoff activity stations, your energy made the launch a spectacular success.

Many thanks to our summer reading kickoff sponsors: the Friends of the East Lake Community Library, Vetture's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, and The Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise!

✨Keep the momentum going all summer long -- there's something for every age at the library! You can sign up in-person or online on Beanstack to participate in summer reading challenges. Help us reach our Beanstack community goal of 1,000 books read this summer!

And: don't forget to mark your calendars for our grand finale on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 from 10AM - 1PM. All are welcome for activities, prizes, and all-around fun!

The summer has just begun, so keep unearthing those stories!
