Very busy lately! My brother Jim, who owns Veterans Funeral Care and Best Care Cremation, told me this week that more and more people are choosing cremation over burial in large numbers, especially in the Tampa Bay Region. The choice for people being cremated are now around 83% of all deaths in our area, verses traditional burial in a cemetery. I try and serve family's by reading a Scripture with a very short commentary, perform the committal (Just like at a graveside) and then pray for the family and use my basket to scatter the ashes. And I try and make this available at a very affordable cost. So if you know anyone looking to scatter their loved one's ashes on the water, tell them about me.

I performed 6 commitals in December alone. Customers choose me because 1) I'm a licensed USCG Charter Captain, and 2) I'm a licensed, retired, ordained minister.
