Apollo's Favorite Kind of Tree Work!

One of Apollo's favorite parts of being an arborist isn't just caring for trees—it's teaching the next generation about them. This week, we had the opportunity to spend time with a great group of kids, showing them what it takes to work safely in and around trees and explaining why proper tree care is so important.

The kids got to learn about climbing equipment, arborist techniques, and how we help preserve and protect valuable trees in our community. Of course, Apollo may have done a little showing off on the ropes too!

And let's be honest—the biggest crowd favorite might have been watching Rich operate the grapple truck. Seeing those huge limbs get picked up and loaded was a highlight for everyone!

We're grateful for opportunities like this to share our passion for trees, safety, and education with the community.

If your school, camp, or community group would like to learn more about arboriculture and tree care, reach out to O'Neil's Tree Service. We'd love to help inspire the next generation of tree lovers and future arborists!

This Norfolk Island palm in Oldsmar had to be removed from a tight area surrounded by shrubs, irrigation, and landscape lighting. To avoid damaging the property, our crew used zip line rigging to carefully lower and move each section of the tree safely to the ground.

Every tree removal is different, and sometimes the safest solution requires specialized equipment and planning to protect everything around it. We're proud of the precision work our team delivered on this project.

If you have a tree in a difficult location or close to valuable landscaping, contact O'Neil's Tree Service for a professional assessment and safe removal plan.

Call O'Neil's Tree Service today and let us help protect your property while getting the job done right.

Lightning strikes can leave a tree looking healthy on the outside while causing serious structural damage inside.

This southern live oak in Tampa was struck by lightning and was located very close to the home. After evaluating the damage, the safest recommendation was complete removal before the tree had a chance to fail and cause property damage.

Our crew carefully removed the tree, cleaned up the debris, and left the property safe and ready for the next step.

If you have a tree that has been struck by lightning or damaged during a storm, give O'Neil's Tree Service a call and we'll help you determine the safest course of action.
