Start Spreading the News: Fla. Tops NY in Home Values Study: Fla. leaped past New York to be No. 2 in housing values, trailing only Calif. S. Fla. (No. 5) and Tampa (No. 18) made the “top 20 most valuable metros” list.

I talk a lot about the inventory issue being one of the biggest factors affecting the real estate market today. . . But the talk doesn't do it justice.

We are still a VERY, VERY long way off from seeing an inventory glut like '07-'09. In fact, that probably won't happen again unless we see a moderate decline in the US population; or an impossible increase in building.
