Beets are high in potassium (1 cup yields 442mg), which helps manage blood pressure. They also contain dietary nitrates, which the body converts to a compound called nitric oxide, that dilates blood vessels, promoting blood flow to the heart and the brain (think better memory 🧠). Beets increase exercise endurance and support sexual function.

"Frittata & Fresh Goat Cheese Millefeuille", another healthy and fun recipe by one of Italy's best and most health-conscious chefs, Chef Michele Tomadin. This dish is rich in vital protein, enzymes, anti-oxidants and vitamins. Goat cheese provides important nutrients such as MCFAs (medium-chain fatty acids), which support healthy metabolism and are easy to digest. The fats in goat cheese possess anti-inflammatory properties, and help fight infections. Goat cheese is a tasty ally in low-carb regimes, since the bacteria in it 'digest' the sugar during the fermentation process.
