10 year old Bubba caught all these Bonito himself in addition to three undersized Mahi the were released unharmed. After a catching a few fish , I have to tell you he became an amazing angler.

Come and spend your holidays with us. It's been really good Mahi fishing this week. Here's a small sample.

This was the last second charter. Conditions were just awful for fishing.West winds, south tide all the way out to 1400 feet. No weeds no nothing floating out there to catch dolphin on. We caught one dolphins just out of the blue and did lose a wahoo. We had to catch these guys something! They came all the way across from Tampa to fish on another charter boat they had booked but the other boat canceled on them. So I went to my plan B. We loaded up on these Vermillion snappers and a few undersized red grouper, We moved inshore further and were rewarded with 2 large yellow tail snapper. All in all turned out to be a great day.

Yesterday late afternoon Tracy Strong and her wonderful family chartered us last minute. Once fishing , other boats around reported slow fishing. So I decided to do what I love to do the best! I trolled offshore, found large tree, limb floating in 700 feet of water. We caught these 7 Mahi lost one other. The small wahoo was a bonus. We probably could've caught more Mahi but the jacks were so thick that it was hard to get a bait out. We probably caught a bucket full of Bar Jacks .

We were lucky to catch these 3 nice sized Mahi Mahi on light spinning rods despite it pouring rain all morning long.
Mahi, wahoo , kingfish fishing should continue to be good for the next several weeks. Looking foreword to the mullet run just starting
