I introduce you to THE CLEAN UP PARTY! Fun and gets the job done! The younger you start this, the better! Step one: set a time and location the family will meet each night. Step two: turn on the tunes... LOUD! Step three: set the timer for 10 minutes. Step four: Count down and go! Everyone runs around the house putting things away as quickly as possible. Dance, sing, high five, have fun with it! You’ve got to beat the timer and return to your meeting location before the timer goes off. And the great part about this is they will learn the more things they put away BEFORE the clean up party, the more likely it is they will beat the buzzer! Clean up doesn’t have to be boring and is something everyone in the family is responsible for. Working together to have a happy home is worth it!
