1967 Cougar Strut Rod Sleeve
▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞▞
When getting an alignment, you should check your Strut Rod sleeves before you get an alignment. They can still do the alignment, however, they may not notice if the sleeves are bad underneath which may eventually cause a little uneven wear on your tires. It may be insignificant, but with the price of tires, it's worth it.
Ensure that you are getting the most out of your alignment and check/replace them as necessary. Or replace the whole set of strut rods! Hint, if you replace the rods, save your old nuts as they can get costly ($5./ea. and up!)
The passenger side was fine but in this photo who would have thought that the driver side could be that much different! (left original 50 year old sleeve).
