Recently, Anna S., CNA/Unit Clerk, demonstrated exceptional vigilance while caring for a patient in our Emergency Department. While placing the patient on cardiac monitoring, Anna recognized a potentially serious cardiac rhythm abnormality and immediately alerted the provider. Further testing confirmed a life-threatening cardiac event requiring urgent intervention.

Anna's attentiveness, critical thinking, and commitment to patient safety helped ensure timely diagnosis and treatment. Her actions are a perfect example of why she is receiving our Good Catch Award.
