Great tips! It’s getting pretty cold out. Stay safe and prepared while out on your runs or hike 🙂

As we approach winter, sweater weather, and rainy days, there are some extra precautions you should be taking to make sure you’re still staying safe when you hit the trails!

💦 Dress in layers, and pack extra clothes in case you get muddy/wet

💦 Let the trails dry! Wait a day or two after it rains so the trails can dry out.

💦 Wear sturdy boots with good traction (and pack extra socks/shoes for the car ride home!).

💦 Bring hiking poles, water, and snacks!

💦 Remember to use sunscreen. PSA: You can still get sunburnt in the winter!

ALWAYS check trail conditions before leaving! If trails are too wet/muddy or there are fallen obstacles blocking access, they will be closed.
