Pacifica Democrats

This Saturday, June 20th, 9:30 am the Pacifica Democrats will welcome James Pruett of the San Mateo County Harbor District. Jim was selected by the San Mateo County Harbor District Board of Commissioners as its General Manager in 2019. He is a native of Pacifica and his family formerly owned a fishing business at Pillar Point Harbor. He spent his career as a commissioned officer in the US Coast Guard. The San Mateo Harbor District has responsibility for two main facilities, the Pillar Point Harbor, and the Oyster Point Marina/Park. One of the interesting things the Harbor District does is a drone fireworks show that perhaps Pacifica could learn from.

Before our speaker, we will have voting in the elections of officers for our Club for the upcoming 12 months.

After the main presentation, we will have an open session on the results of the recent state election.

As usual, we are the Sharp Park Golf Course Restaurant. Full breakfast is available for $20, Continental for $10, and coffee/tea/chocolate for $5. No purchase is required, but payment can only be accepted by cash or check.

This Saturday, April 18th at 9:30 a.m., the Pacifica Democrats will welcome incumbent San Mateo County Supervisor Ray Mueller and his opponent Joaquin Jimenez. They are both running for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, District 3. The meeting will also appear on Pacific Coast Television.

The meeting is open to the public and is held at the Sharp Park Restaurant at the golf course. No purchase is required, but a full breakfast is available for $20; continental $10; coffee, tea, or chocolate $5. We can accept only cash or personal check payable to Sharp Park Restaurant. All food orders must be made before 9:30, so please arrive near to 9 am if you plan to dine.
