This week our Wednesday devotional covered James 1:19-20 (NASB), "This you know, my beloved brethren. But let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God." Our challenge for the week was to look for opportunities to apply this teaching in our lives. How is this going for all who were present? Don't forget that if you think about the order (quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger) completing the first two instructions helps bring about the third part of the instruction.
