Also. This was right before I impulsively chopped off all my hair because it “just felt like the right thing to do,” while getting ready for a lunch date one day…

That’s the thing about aging I love the most…

The fact that I have no qualms about always doing and saying “what just feels right.”

I dig give less f***s about trivial things (don’t get me wrong, I still do give too many to silly goose s**t, but it is a lotttt less than before).

That I laugh loudly at most situations—Especially since taking myself too seriously is at the bottom of my to-do list.

I want to age well.

Not gracefully. Not quietly.

Boldly. Loudly.

I want to make people feel loved and seen.

To hold tight to the ones I adore.

To give of myself and always be there to lend a hand, while still keeping my boundaries intact.

To keep my heart, arms, and mind as open and loving as possible, while still staying cheeky.

I’m so grateful to have the privilege of reaching this age and to feel so very loved. Nothing is greater.
