Auditions are now open for our 2026 Next Generation Jazz Orchestra! Twenty-one of the most accomplished high school jazz musicians from across the country will be chosen to perform at the 69th Monterey Jazz Festival, September 25-27, directed by GRAMMY-nominated pianist and composer Gerald Clayton. Alumni of this life-changing band include Patrice Rushen,Benny Green, Donny McCaslin, Dave Koz, Joshua Redman, Ambrose Akinmusire, Kris Bowers, Emmet Cohen, Elena Pinderhughes, and so many others. Applications are open through March 15!
