We’re kicking July off by supporting Councilmember Burroughs’ District 8 Student Leadership Academy Student Leadership Academy on their field trip to Kings Dominion. Investing in the next generation of leaders means showing up for the full experience, not just the classroom.

Next week is a busy one. Our team heads to Baltimore for the Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) International Conference, a national gathering of ministry auxiliaries focused on service, sisterhood, and community support. We’ll be there dropping gems and helping families build stronger financial foundations.

That same week, we’re at the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce monthly Coffee Connections at REHAB 2 PERFORM in Upper Marlboro. This is our monthly touchpoint as an active Chamber member, and if you’re a local business owner still on the fence about joining your local chamber, this is your sign. Chamber membership means built-in visibility, direct access to referral networks, collaboration opportunities with other business owners, and a seat at the table when it comes to local advocacy. It’s one of the most underrated growth tools available to small businesses.

From there, we’re off to the Empower Impact Conference in Philadelphia, as Dr. Warren also serves as an Energy Advisor. It’s a natural extension of the mission, helping families save is helping families save, whether that’s through smarter financial habits or lower energy costs.

We’re also hoping to be selected as a cohort participant for the WACIF ASCEND program, which supports small business owners with resources and capital access to help them scale. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

We’re closing the month out at the FFS Level Up Convention in Las Vegas, where our CEO Darvincia Warren will be gracing the stage.

Purpose over pressure. Impact over image. That’s the CORE way. 🍏

We had the pleasure of opening Money Smart Week 2026 with The Inaugural Kickoff Roundtable Brunch…setting the tone for a week rooted in connection, intention, and opportunity.

The room was filled with driven, forward-focused individuals, and the energy was both welcoming and purposeful. From meaningful conversations to new connections being formed, this brunch created space for collaboration, growth, and shared learning.

This wasn’t just the start of the week, it was the foundation. A reminder that when we come together, we create opportunities that extend far beyond a single moment.

As we reflect, we’re grateful for every connection made and every conversation shared. This was only the beginning, and each event throughout the week continued to build on that same spirit of community and empowerment.
