This Mercedes AMG SLS 6.2L is one of the most challenging intake manifolds we have worked on yet. The customer requested a direct port water-methanol injection system packaged entirely under the intake manifold lid. Despite the limited space, we successfully met this request.

For this initial mockup, we machined custom one-off billet rails, custom machined and welded magnesium bungs in place for each nozzle. Intake manifold will be stripped, send all necessary parts for hard anodizing, and then reassemble, flow, and leak test them before shipping.
