We’re sharing info on an upcoming free event being organized by our friends at Ventura County Community Mental Health.

Family Wellness and Resource Event is happening Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura, from 8:30 am - 3 pm. The event is designed to support parents, caregivers, and youth through behavioral health education, resilience, and connections to local resources.

Childcare, lunch, and Spanish interpretation will be provided.

Compartimos información sobre un próximo evento gratuito organizado por nuestros amigos de Ventura County Community Mental Health.

El evento Bienestar familiar evento de recursos se llevará a cabo el sábado 11 de julio de 2026 en el Poinsettia Pavilion de Ventura, de 8:30 am a 3 pm. El evento está dirigido a padres, cuidadores y jóvenes, y facilitará el acceso a recursos locales.

Se ofrecerá servicio de cuidado infantil, almuerzo e interpretación al español.

We’re honored to have been the recipient of the JD Probasco (Division 😎 Team Unity Award at this year’s Corporate Games. That makes it two years in a row and deserving for a special Back-2-Back Champs display.

The trophy inscription reads: Given to the company that displayed the most unity and spirit during the 2025 (and 2026) Corporate Games. “No Whining.”

The Team Unity Award is named in honor and memory of City of Ventura staff member, JD Probasco, whose love for the Corporate Games lives on through this distinguished award.

Thank you to our amazing CDR team for displaying the ultimate example of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and community. A special thank you to the hard working crew Recreation for organizing another wonderful event.

The trophies will be on display in the lobby of our CDR central office throughout the month of June.
