My husband & I attended a scalp acupuncture seminar in Memphis, TN, conducted by Professor Jiao Shunfa, a renowned neurosurgeon from Shanxi Province in China. Jiao's Scalp Acupuncture school, established in the early 1970's, focuses on seamless integration of modern Western medicine's cortical localization theory with Traditional Chinese acupuncture techniques. Clinically, Jiao's Scalp Acupuncture has demonstrated remarkable efficacy in treating cerebral disorders (such as post-stroke hemiplegia, aphasia, sequelae of traumatic brain injury, & Parkinson's disease), making it one of the most widely used systems in both China & Internationally.

February 2026: Dona is an 86-year-old lady, suffering from a long history of pain in her left leg. Also, she has not slept well for over 50 years. After checking her tongue and pulse I completed a complete physical body examination, discovering she had a gall-blander meridian blocked by qi and blood. After I treated her, she felt a lot of relief with the leg pain and the insomnia. She was super happy about that, and she decided to come weekly until she was completely rid of her leg pain. At the end of February, she will be on her fourth treatment and so far Dona is very pleased with the results.

January 2026: Pete was suffering from chronic tingling sensations in his limbs after having chemotherapy performed. Additionally, his hands and feet felt weird and numb. After checking his tongue and pulses, I diagnosed him with Yin deficiency. And the chemotherapy toxin affected his peripheral nerves causing weird feelings in his limbs, hands and feet. December 2025: Carol endured years of severe lower back and hip pain radiating throughout her leg, worsening with walking, alongside occasional fever and sciatic nerve issues.
