We are proud to announce another new member to our board! Pam DeLap who has been an outstanding partner over the years has joined as a parent representative. Please help us welcome her and get to know her a little by reading her bio below:
My family has benefited from education that has been provided through BPDD, such as Partners in Policymaking, Self Determination Conference, Take your Legislator to Work Project. We continue to experience positive life changes as a result of these programs. They have helped me to develop my own advocacy skills for my family. I look forward to using my leadership and advocacy skills to pay this forward by working with families, individuals with disabilities, legislators and communities to find ways all people can be successful, participate and contribute.
As a financial professional, a mother of a child with a developmental disability and a disability advocate, I believe I can bring multiple areas of strength to the Board. My great passions are to connect with others and help educate families by empowering them to make informed decisions.

Inclusion is a leadership issue!
This Woman Is Making Disability Inclusion A Leadership Issue One woman dares to ask: Is disability inclusion actually on your board's 2019 agenda? Do you even talk about disability? Learn about the status quo and how to change it.
Have you been to South Park yet this summer? So many wonderful changes taking place, so much more accessibility for all to enjoy this beautiful environment!!!
We received a call today from a family from Georgia who visited the park recently. This family had childhood memories of visiting family in Oshkosh. They were staying in Neenah, heard about our accessible park from friends there and decided to drive to Oshkosh to visit the park. They LOVED our park and decided to donate by buying a picket with their family name engraved. The conversation was so affirming to all the community partners, citizens, donors that put time and effort into creating such a park! We continue to share our community vision of inclusion with visitors from all over the world. Oshkosh is a great place to live, work and play!
