Y'all thought I was out there being lazy all year.....
(well only in the sense that social media is a low priority for me, and if you know me you know this, but you also know that people are a high priority) and what a year it has been. These photos show some cool tech and setups that are completely useless without you and me and all the many many others doing what we do. If you know me you know this. This year has been quite the ride, with many different people at different places at different times, and the future looks to be more of the same, and more that is unknown. So I raise my glass to all you that I've seen this year, to those I haven't, to those we met once, to those we met many times, to what is known and consistent, to what is unknown and uncertain: This is life, and we're in it together. Much Love.

2020 Recap:
What a year. In that moment just trying to do my best, and glad to have those around me to go through it with. I helped the Church I work with (FUMC Winter Park) get streaming going and helped with video production both audio and video. Got to work with gear over the summer thanks to JThor, and started to do some streaming shows in the fall, including a theater show recording for on-demand.

Also something I was playing with. Been watching a lot of the 'acoustics webinars, and I thought about a festival that I used to go to and what a system might look like. It was really fun, starting with looking at satellite images of the grounds, and topographical data for the slope. Then trying to remember the size and scale of the venue and staging. This still is only covering out to 200' even though the actual venue goes up the hill out to 400' from the stage, and possibly wider as well. I going to work on delays and LF in the future to see what I can make happen...

Im sure many others have had this situation recently: this is the show that never was. We set up on Wednesday, and then struck it on Thursday, never having had any attendees in the room. At least I got to be with some great people.
