Goodbye, 2025 🐾

This year was filled with wagging tails, small wins that turned into big breakthroughs, and so many dogs learning that the world is a safe place to be curious, confident, and themselves.

To every family who trusted me with their dog this year — thank you. You didn’t just invest in training. You chose patience. You chose education. You chose kindness. And that choice changes everything — for your dog, for your family, and for our entire industry.

I truly tried to include every dog from 2025 in this video… but Instagram said “absolutely not” 😅
If your pup isn’t pictured, please know they are still a huge part of what made this year so special.

Force-free training works. It’s effective, it’s humane, and it builds real relationships — not just obedience. Every time one of you chose that path, you helped prove that dogs don’t need pressure or fear to learn… they need guidance, clarity, and trust.

2025 was our best year yet because of you — the dogs, the families, the commitment, and the shared belief that there’s a better way to train.

Here’s to continuing to raise confident dogs, informed humans, and the standard for what modern dog training should be.
Where there’s a goal, there’s a way 💛

Thank you for being part of The Bark Stop™️ family.

Tony’s Stay n Train was everything a dog’s learning journey should be — full of joy, movement, connection, and real-life experiences. From trail adventures and lake swims to playtime with other dogs, structured training sessions, rollerblading, and quiet cuddle moments, Tony practiced living confidently in the world, not just following cues in a controlled room.

What makes The Bark Stop™️ Stay n Train so different is that your dog is treated like a whole, thinking, feeling companion — not a project to “fix.” Most programs keep dogs indoors, drill commands, or rely on punishment. Here, your dog learns through trust, play, positive reinforcement, and natural exploration. They grow socially. They build confidence. They discover who they are. And they come home a little braver, a little calmer, and a whole lot more connected to you.

If your goal is a dog who feels safe, understood, and ready for the world — this is the program.

🐾 New Puppy Alert! 🐾

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest members of our training family here at The Bark Stop™️! These adorable pups are not just here to melt your heart; they’re also embarking on an exciting journey of learning and development through puppy training.

While we can’t deny the cuteness overload, it’s essential to understand that puppy training goes beyond just obedience cues. It’s about building confidence, a sense of safety, independence, and developing crucial social skills. These early experiences shape their future behavior and well-being.

According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, scientific research suggests that waiting until a puppy has had every round of vaccinations (around 16 weeks) before socializing them can lead to fearfulness of their world. The risks of not socializing early outweigh the risks associated with vaccine prevention. That’s why we emphasize starting training at a very young age, after at least one round of vaccinations.

So, if you have a new furry family member, consider starting their training journey early to give them the best start in life. Let’s help them grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs!

🐾 Embracing Positivity: Why Wednesdays at The Bark Stop Shine Brighter 🐾

Wednesdays at The Bark Stop are not just another day. ~ it’s a testament to the power of love, science, and respect in dog training. Every Wednesday, we celebrate not just the leaps our students have made, but the profound, scientifically proven methods behind their success. Through rewards like food, toys, and praise, we don’t just teach…we connect and understand, fostering a deep, trusting bond between humans and dogs.

Why do we stand firmly by force-free, positive reinforcement training? Because it’s humane, loving, and incredibly effective. Science shows us that dogs learn faster and retain cues more consistently when rewarded rather than corrected. This approach not only nurtures their mental health but also cements a joyful, voluntary compliance that corrections could never achieve.

This week, our snapshots focus on these joyful moments of achievement and connection—each toy tossed and treat given is a story of success, a testament to a method that respects the dog’s autonomy and intelligence.

Force-free training is more than just a method!! It’s a commitment to kindness, proving that the most humane approaches are also the most effective. Have you noticed the difference it makes? Share your “Why Wednesday” success story, and let’s spread the word: training with compassion isn’t just possible ~ it’s profoundly transformative.

Join us. Witness the scientifically backed magic of positivity at The Bark Stop, and let’s make every day a step towards a happier, healthier relationship with our beloved dogs.
