We are pleased to announce our next Bahamas Fly-In from March 22-26, 2023!

This incredible trip begins with two nights in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island followed by two nights in Emerald Bay on Great Exuma.

You may depart from whichever airport you choose in the US, or you may meet up with a group in Ft. Lauderdale (KFXE) and fly over together—the choice is up to you. Regardless, our plan is to have all aircraft arrive in Freeport by 11:00am on Wednesday, March 22nd.

These fly-ins are designed to bring pilots to The Bahamas, and how you choose to experience the trip is completely up to you. You are free to enjoy the Islands at your leisure, or you’re free to participate in activities with the group. My team and I have put together a really fun itinerary in Freeport that includes activities like a traditional Bahamian fish fry, a day at Paradise Cove Beach Adventure where you can swim with turtles, kayak, snorkel and more, a tour and tasting at the Sands Brewery, and a visit to the Port Lucaya Marketplace for shopping and dining. Transportation is included to all of these experiences.

Accommodations have been arranged at the Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan Resort, which is a beautiful oceanfront property on Grand Bahama Island.

After a couple days in Freeport, you can either return to the US or join us in The Exumas, which boast some of the most beautiful waters in the world. Accommodations have been arranged at the Grand Isle Emerald Bay, which is a AAA Four Diamond Award winning property and is one of the nicest resorts in all of The Bahamas. Here you can enjoy activities like fishing, boating, swimming with the pigs, snorkeling in the famous Thunderball Grotto, golfing, taking an ATV tour around the island, and much more.

This is the perfect trip for both seasoned Bahamas aviators and first-timers. Brandon's role as a Bahamas Flying Ambassador is to promote private flying to The Bahamas by showing pilots how easy the process is. As a flight instructor, Brandon is more than happy to assist pilots with customs and immigration paperwork, radio station license/operators permits, flight planning and more. Freeport (MYGF) and Great Exuma (MYEF) airports both have long, paved runways and offer both AvGas and Jet Fuel. Aircraft of all sizes are welcome.
