In piano music, there are 12 possible keys that any particular song can be played in (corresponding to the 12 notes on the piano keyboard). The possible keys are: A, A #/B-flat, B, C, C #/D-flat, D, D #/E-flat, E, F, F #/G-flat, G, and G #/A-flat.

We recognize that the instruction you receive during your lessons may not be all the practice you need during the week. For best results, consider practicing on your own at the same time and in the same place each day.

There are a number of different types of drum lessons available to you if you are just starting out. In fact, the best and fastest way to learn is to study the drums that you like to listen to. For example, if you like jazz music, then learn jazz drums. If you are a big band drum lover, then learn big band.

Some may not be aware of the strain that occurs on their fingers when they play guitar. This can actually be remedied by practicing frequently. The consistency allows your fingers to get acclimated to the feel of the strings and alleviate any possible discomfort.
