Walter’s Tavern was named a finalist in the hospitality + dining category at the Golden Brick Awards, and it was great to see the project recognized alongside so many strong contributors shaping downtown Orlando.

Located within Great Southern Box Company Food Hall and Bar, the project gave us the chance to work inside a historic citrus packing warehouse and help create a space that feels connected to Orlando’s past while adding new energy to the Packing District today.

Interstruct Design + Build led the architecture and construction, with interiors by Kim Price and KAP Studio. A lot of thoughtful storytelling and detail went into this one, all centered around the legacy of Walter Phillips and Central Florida’s citrus history.

We’re hiring in Tampa. Interstruct Design + Build is looking for an Architectural / Revit Draftsperson to support our architecture team—someone who can jump into production, collaborate across disciplines, and help carry projects from concept through permitting.

This role sits inside a fully integrated design + build environment, working closely with both architects and construction teams on active healthcare and commercial projects.
