When I look at this image, “Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti Om” comes to mind. I was completely at peace with all around me. For those who are not familiar with this mantra it is chanted three times for peace. Once for the disturbances that are out of our control such as hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, tsunamis, etc. Once for the disturbances from anything stemming from the world around us mosquitoes, noisy neighbors, barking dogs, the phone ringing, and family arguments. And the third and the most powerful disturbances stemming from “The Self”, for one who is still identified with the ego, the people, places and things of this world and is stimulated by one of two reactions in the mind—attachment or aversion.
